Hi i´m new to this forum.
I pulled the trigger on some stuff from Tayda.Just a smaller order to check out some of their stuff. It´s ridicolously cheap and i don´t expect top quality...However although i used paypal i´m a bit sceptic about ordering stuff from a places like Thailand...Is there reason for concern? :?:

Xenophobia?

I keed, nope, had fine dealings, as have most of the people in this thread or we'd have called them out, they can occasionaly mess up an order but so can any suppliers closer to home, perhaps more so.

The quality is actually not bad either from the stuff I got.

Only thing is due to the distance stuff can take a week or two to arrive, they have great customer service from what I hear though.

They are. On the last three packages i recieved from them, it said they were shipped from Hong Kong. Tayda's business adress is in Bangkok though.
Their stuff is good though :)

Welcome to the forums lofi73! I just received my order from Tayda (a HUGE bag of stuff!)...and not only are their prices ridiculously cheap :D , but the products are basically as good (or better) quality than other places I've ordered from (Futurlec, Mouser, etc.). So don't hesitate ordering from them...the wait's definately worth it  .

My orders were all shipped from Hong Kong.
Never had a problem with them or the quality of the stuff they have.

(With voice like a support group)
"Hi, my name is Juan, I'm from Argentina and I also bought from Tayda."

They were always good. Once, when a package was lost somewhere around the world, I talked to them (via mail) and they refunded me to whole price (Wich I used in the next order). Tip: they told me to place orders for 30$ or more so they can use "registered" shipping (or whatever the name, the one that has tracking number)

Regards,
Juanro

I have bought a ton of stuff from Tayda. Very good quality, good prices, reliable, can't beat 'em. I've done large orders and very small orders... shipping ranges from $1.20 or so on up so you can feel ok placing those "oh crap" orders for one or two missing components - as long as your minimum is $5.00.

I admit I haven't ordered from them recently but in June the shipments arrived within 2 weeks (to EU) which is quite good from Asia.
Zero problems yet, good components at good prices.
