Banzai Fuzz Face Classic Si Transistor Set

Looking for a particular component or hardware part and you just cannot find it? Got comoonents surplus and want to get rid of it? Post it all here... No sales of working pedals, put these in the 'Seen for sale' section please.

Hi, I'm sourcing parts for my diy fuzz face and I would like to know if there's anyone here that has ordered the so claimed Fuzz Face Classic Si Transistor Set and has measured their gain, just to have a reference point to what I'm looking for. I know that the Q2 should have higher gain than the Q1, but I don't have exact values. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say: gain doesn't really matter in a silicon fuzz face. I would still want to do the experiment of getting some old piece of 80's junk electronics and build a fuzz from the salvaged components.

Wow, 10,41 euro for two silicon transistors, one is BC108A?, the other BC337!
Better buy them separately and safe 9,50 EUR
https://www.banzaimusic.com/BC337-25.html = 0,14 eur
https://www.banzaimusic.com/BC108A.html = 0,60 euro

Regarding the gain range and the noise figure the BC549C transistor are very close to the BC109C,
this applies also to the BC550C which have a bit less noise figure.
