Shipping is expensive!! Amps would be hard because you would have to send a prototype or sample for them to try out.

But, if anyone could get your stuff to market, it's my contact over at Harry's. If you want a dialog, send me a PM and I'll give you his contact info... never hurts to ask.

Questions are put forth and I'm answering them. Building pedals is exciting, but the business aspects are surely void of any glamor or thrills... down right boring.

I agree - thanks for sharing the contact info with us - I probably won't be sending any of my pedals to Japan though - I'm just too lazy I guess, besides, I am too busy with repairs, but I am going to make some time to build some twin triode valve pedals for local guys very soon. Who knows, I may just post the schems and board layout and point to point wiring details when they are finished.
cheers

It doesn't appear to me that ToneFreak is making anything new. Just mods to some classic circuits we all know and love. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Nobody said there wasn't a market for modded classic circuits. You should know that better than anyone since your pedals are mods of existing circuits.

I know the market much better than you think.

More power to ToneFreak!

How many rip offs of the TS808/OD-1/TS7 type circuit are there by now?? Why not use a BYOC board? I used to make bootleg descramblers for ON TV and HBO back when they were on the air scrambled pay channels, and I etched all my own boards. I was about 12 years old, had a paper route and I would install a descrambler for ONE channel inside your television set for $150, or both channels for $225. You wound up with either an On-Off or an On-Off-On switch, and a dual gang pot somewhere on the TV set. It is a whole lot easier to use a BYOC board than to drill, mark with a lacquer based Sharpie and then etch your own boards, so why not use BYOC or any other boards someone will sell to you?? Dang, I feel really old. People actually used to pay $20-$29 a month for HBO or $29 for On, and an extra $20 for the 2-4 hours of cheesy soft core porn that was on On TV after midnight, or 10:00 PM or whenever. Poor people watched the scrambled porn. If I had a place to buy bootleg pay TV descrambler PC boards from, I'd have used them! Ripping of pay channels from cable was the next logical step. Now it's all digital and they KNOW what your are watching, and if you paid or not. 186 channels of TV now and it all sucks, so here I am.
