But maybe a pcb layout would fit in a 1590B enclosure...

Hello and thank you KindaFuzzy for your work!
On the schematic that you provide, both outputs of the TL072 (pins 1 and 7) go to "LED", but I can't see any LED in the schematic.
May I suppose that is the bypass LED, which is a pulsating one?
Best regards!

Oh, yeah they go to either one of the outside positive lugs of a two colour LED, and the center common negative end of that LED goes to the stomp switch, which grounds or ungrounds it to turn it on or off with the effect. You could probably do something similar with two regular LEDs with their negative ends tied together. The stock LED is green/orange but I had a green/red one that was pretty cool too.gigelmargel wrote:Hello and thank you KindaFuzzy for your work!

Better to ask, because I understood wrong from the schematic.
Best regards!

Thanks for the trace, KindaFuzzy.
I'm planning a vero layout for this one so I went ahead and drew up a schematic. Do let me know if I missed something.

Ah, the uncrowned king of the vero layout joins in!
Do you think that it will fit into a 1590b (=21 holes wide), maybe without a battery? Would be great...
Which program do you use to draw schematics?

5484's are in the original, I used 5485's on the breadboard so I must have put that on the schematic. I think they're almost the same anyways.

As promised here's a vero layout. This one was surprisingly tough, but mostly because I tried to size it for a 1590B (which I think I managed). Hopefully there aren't any mistakes.

Ah, didn't catch that.roseblood11 wrote:In the first post KindaFuzzy wrote that it's four 2n5484's and two 2n5457's...
I've updated the vero layout above, and here's an updated schematic as well.

Still waiting for the bloody XR2206 chip. I ordered from musikding (only because they had all the parts in one place, so thought i'd save a bit on shipping) but they sent the rest of the order without the chip, which was "to follow"... still waiting. I've got the rest of the board built (lovely layout, thanks hbo!) JUST NEED THE CHIP.... Almost tempted to splash out on an eBay purchase just to get it done.Mich P wrote:Is there someone 's done it ?

Harold, are you willing to share the eagle schematic so I can have a try at designing a PCB? (Not having to draw the schematic myself saves me some time and averts possible errors!)hbo wrote: I've updated the vero layout above, and here's an updated schematic as well.

I ordered a 2206 and the FET's the day KindaFuzzy started the thread,Mich P wrote:Is there someone 's done it ?

but I have to admit that I'm just too lazy to start soldering...

Built it tonight. Works, and sounds nice too! I had to reorient the depth and rate pots. Rev. 3 is now verified.

Here you are. I didn't draw it with the intention of it ever being made into a PCB so let's hope I picked reasonable components packages.Pruttelherrie wrote:Harold, are you willing to share the eagle schematic so I can have a try at designing a PCB?
