I'm afraid it is going to be a while before I can work up this schem, work is getting crazy right now.

I think that R1 should be 1K5, not 7K5. Demeter Tremulator has 1K there (R17) and a 5K trimmer in series, and Baja Trembulator has 1K there and a 10K trimmer in series. Photos are a little blurry, but that resistor looks like brown-green-red one here:

Also, R14 looks like 8K2 (the same as in Demeter - R4).

If that is the case, then the parts values must not be that critical, as I have now built about 10 of these with the values listed and they all work great!

I'd say you're right. Here's how mine sounds (with those changes & trimmers adjusted to my liking):

Barcode wrote:Okay, worked up a new layout slightly based on fuller's. The values are what i used when i made my clone, and the pads are there for all the different switches, but i didn't put them in my build. The rate pot totally covers all usable speeds for me, so no double/half switch needed, and I used an external pot for the hard/soft trim pot instead of installing the switch. I haven't test this specific layout yet, but i've node checked and it isn't far off the original, so it should be good. funny thing is i haven't had time to work up a schem, so i'm hoping ag or someone can finish out the project with a schem.

Hi

sorry for my poor english

I´ve building the dull bone koopa gem and i have some troubles

I,ve building the footswitch soft/hard, ok
I,ve building the footswitch dual potentiometer 1M/500k, ok

The sound is very very crunch, distortion, and the rate led lighting but not intermittent.

The ics are tl071 and tl072. Before, are the originals from he supatrem, tl061, lf442 and other and the distortion have been minor.

What´s the problem?. take me a hand, please

Regards

Have the capacitors of 1mF and 2,2mF to be NP? Is there a reason to Mike Fuller prefer NP?

About the speed pot: would be better a log or a linear type? :hmmm:

i am interessted in this question too, about the NP capacitors

and i've got a ticking problem even, when the unit is turned off. did anyone build this fully working without any ticking noises? if so, what special components did you use?

Hi there, i've built it and it works fine. At first i've had some ticking noises too but then i realise the original has the rate pot wired with shielded cable, i swaped mine and put in some shielded wire too, and that stopped the ticking .
Hope it helps.
